Picture Taking Tips
Question from Pam Quarterman

When you take a picture outside, do you turn the flash on or keep it off?

Answer

This is a question that you need to ask yourself each time you take pictures outside. The answer depends on the weather and location. If the light is behind your subject, then you will want to use the flash to brighten their faces. If the sun is directly overhead, a flash or fill flash would help to soften shadows under eyes. If the day is overcast and your subject has no problem opening their eyes, then a flash isn't necessary.

The situation always varies, depending on mother nature!
